I spotted these fabulous walls over on Centsational Girl‘s new blog, Centsational Style at Better Homes and Gardens. She’s done a Color Spotlight on Indigo, which got me to thinking about my new favourite color of paint.
When I say new, I mean new-the-last-time-I-did-any-painting, which may or may not have been about six months ago. Nonetheless, at that time, I fell in love with one of the colours from the Dulux Colours of New Zealand range. I really like what they’ve tried to do on their site with the paint names and getting people to upload photos taken at that place, incidentally.
My colour is called Poor Knights, and it’s named after this little spot here:
Here’s the swatch for the paint color (and I must say I like that Pigeon Bush as well).
I got a little bit to use on a restore I’ve been doing on a telephone table, and when it’s on, this color is a glorious deep-but-not-too-dark blue. I love it. And now I’ve seen the inspiration above, I’ve got to say I’m tempted to try it on a wall.
